FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is CBD legal in US & Canada?
Currently, 47 of the 50 U.S. states, as well as the District of Columbia, have legalized the sale and use of hemp-derived CBD products. CBD is legal in Canada and has been used in the treatment of various medical conditions.
CBD is produced through extraction from the cannabis plant. Unlike regular cannabis products, it does not contain any THC -- the specific chemical that’s responsible for the “high” people feel after using cannabis.
What is CBD
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is one of several naturally-occurring cannabinoids found in the cannabis, or hemp, plant. Unlike the more famous THC cannabinoid, CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it’s not a chemical that can cause you to feel high.
CBD is currently being researched as a potential treatment for a range of conditions, including chronic pain and a variety of neurological diseases. Although research is still in its early stages, current studies of CBD show that it may have promising results as a natural treatment.
HEMP Vs. Marijuana
Both marijuana and hemp are part of the cannabis plant family. However, the plant strains that are commonly referred to as marijuana typically have a high THC content, with a lower content of other cannabinoids such as CBD.
Hemp, on the other hand, is rich in cannabinoids such as CBD but only contains a small amount of THC. This makes hemp ideal for use as a source of CBD for products such as oil tinctures or vape e-liquids.
What's the best way to ingest CBD?
There are four different ways to consume CBD oil. The first, using it sublingually, allows CBD to quickly enter into your bloodstream and take effect. The second, using a vaporiser, is also fast, efficient and effective.
Other options include applying CBD topically in the form of a body oil or lotion, as well as using CBD-based capsules. While these are both effective, it typically takes longer for the CBD to get into your bloodstream and start working.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT CBD
Cannabidiol is a plant-based compound found in hemp—the same plant from which we get hemp seed milk (a yummy alternative to cow’s milk), fabric, and bird feed. Nature’s Ultra makes their CBD products by dissolving CBD in fractionated coconut oil. When you use CBD products, your body’s endocannabinoid system is affected.
A common misconception is that taking CBD will get you high. While CBD is used for many things, getting high isn’t one of them! Pure CBD—known as CBD isolate—contains no THC, which is the mind-altering chemical found in marijuana. That means you can take CBD without having to worry about the effects of THC or binge eating all the snacks in your kitchen.
